A crucial procedural step that guarantees your investment is well-protected and in line with your objectives is updating your nominee details in the plan. This step is essential as the future of the maturity amount depends on it. Similarly, for your Systematic Deposit Plan (SDP), adding a nominee is also advised. A nominee is the person designated to receive the investment proceeds in case of the investor's unfortunate demise. You can easily update/ add/ edit nominee details on ‘My Account’ which is our customer portal.

Updating your SDP nominee details:

Adding a nominee is crucial to ensure that your SDP amount can be easily transferred to your loved ones in the event of your untimely demise.

To modify nominee details for your SDP, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the customer portal using your registered mobile number and the received OTP.
  2. Verify your details by entering your date of birth.
  3. Select your SDP from the "My Relations" section and click on add/ edit nominee option in the "Nominee details" section.
  4. Enter the required details of the nominee. If the nominee is a minor, provide guardian information.
  5. Verify the details by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

If your SDP has a joint account holder, both the account holders need to verify the OTP while updating nominee details.
