When you choose any insurance plan offered by our partners, you can easily view and manage its details by visiting our customer portal – My Account. You can check policy details such as start date, end date, policy number, premium amount, nominee details and more.

In case you want to update any of these details, you can raise a request for the same in My Account.

    • Enter your registered mobile number and submit the OTP to sign-in.
    • Verify your details using your date of birth and proceed.
    • Select your insurance policy from the ‘My Relations’ section.
    • Find details such as policy start date, policy end date, nominee details and more.


    Alternatively, you can click on the ‘Check your insurance policy details’ option below to sign-in to My Account. Once signed-in, select your policy from the ‘My Relations’ section and find all details.

  • Click on the ‘Sign-in’ button on this page.
  • Enter your registered mobile number and submit the OTP to sign-in.
  • Complete the verification by entering your date of birth and proceed.
  • Select your insurance policy from ‘My Relations’.
  • Click on the ‘Update Policy Details’ option from the ‘Quick Actions’ section.
  • Choose the insurance policy for which you want to update details and proceed.
  • Select ‘Change policy details’ as your ‘Query type’ and relevant ‘Sub-query type’.
  • Enter additional details, upload supporting documents if needed and submit your request.

Alternatively, you can click on the ‘Update your insurance policy details’ to visit My Account. Then, select your insurance policy from ‘My Relations’ and click on the ‘Update Policy Details’ option from ‘Quick Actions’ and proceed.

Renew your insurance policy

If you have an insurance policy and are looking to renew it, you can visit our customer portal – My Account to raise a renewal request. With this feature, you can ensure that you continue to receive the benefits of the policy you’ve opted for.

Cancel your insurance policy

When you choose any insurance policy, a pre-fixed time is provided to you for policy evaluation. This period is called a free look period. It’s usually 15 to 30 days and it starts on the day you receive the insurance policy. This period allows you to evaluate the policy’s terms and conditions and its benefits. If during this period, you decide not to go ahead with the policy, you can cancel it. A refund of your premium shall be processed as per the applicable procedure followed by the insurer.

    Once your request is raised, you’ll receive a call from our representative within 48 business hours who will guide you on further steps.

Surrender your insurance policy

If your insurance policy’s free look period (FLP) is over and you don’t wish to continue with the policy, you can surrender it. Your free look period last for 15 to 30 days from the day you receive the insurance policy. However, when you surrender it, the membership fee/ premium amount will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. If you have an insurance linked to your loan account, it will be adjusted towards the outstanding loan amount (if any). The refund will be processed within seven business days from the date of request.

How can I cancel my policy after its free look period (FLP) has ended?

A free look period (FLP) is a trial period that starts on the day your insurance policy is issued. It allows you to assess the policy and its benefits before deciding whether to continue or cancel the same.
You can’t cancel a policy after its free look period (FLP) is over. However, you can surrender it and the membership fee/ premium amount will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

You can follow these steps to surrender your insurance policy:

  • Click on the ‘Surrender your insurance policy’ option below to visit our customer portal – My Account.
  • Enter your registered mobile number and submit the OTP to sign-in.
  • Verify your details by entering your date of birth and proceed.
  • Select ‘Insurance’ as your product and choose the policy you want to surrender.
  • Choose the relevant query and sub-query type and proceed to raise a request.

How long does it take to get a refund of the premium amount after cancelling my policy?

The membership fee/ premium amount will be refunded to your registered bank account as per the terms and conditions defined in your policy. However, if you’ve taken any loan from Bajaj Finance, your premium amount will be adjusted towards the outstanding loan amount, if any.

If you surrender your policy after the free look period (FLP) is over, the membership fee/ premium amount will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. It might also get adjusted towards any outstanding loan amount within seven business days from the date of request raised.

How long does it take for a claim settlement?

The time frame for a claim settlement is based on the terms and conditions mentioned in your policy. Your insurer will send an SMS to your registered mobile number informing you about the claim settlement status. You’ll also receive a notification on your email ID. However, please note that your claim settlement is subject to document verification.

How can I get a cashless facility on my insurance policy?

You can avail of the cashless treatment facility at any of the network hospitals of the insurance company. You can check the list of hospitals in your policy document.
