Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 – Overview

Released in April 2013, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 was an 8-inch tablet computer running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It was a mid-range tablet with a focus on portability thanks to its slim 7.4mm profile and lightweight 318g design.

The T311 featured an 8-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. This resolution is on the lower side by today's standards, but it was acceptable for watching videos and browsing the web in 2013. Under the hood, the device was powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Exynos 4212 processor and 1.5GB of RAM. This combination provided enough performance for everyday tasks but would not be suitable for high-end gaming or multitasking.

The T311 came with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, which could be expandable with a microSD card up to 64GB. It sported a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera, which were just decent for basic photos and video calls. The 4450mAh battery offered good stamina, and users could expect up to 970 hours of standby time on a 2G network.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311 was a competent mid-range tablet in 2013. It offered a good balance of portability, performance, and battery life. However, with its outdated software, low-resolution display, and dual-core processor, it is no longer a good choice for users in 2024. You would be better off looking at a more recent tablet that offers better performance, a higher resolution display, and a more up-to-date operating system.
