  • What’s covered

  • Financial losses from unauthorised transactions

    The plan covers money loss due to unauthorised transactions from your registered account to a third-party account in one of the following ways:

    1. Cyber-attacks
    Targeted intrusion into insured’s computer system which results in:

    a)Transmission of unauthorised data to the insured person’s computer system
    b)Transmission of data from the insured person’s computer system to a third-party computer system
    c)Unauthorised access or use of the insured person’s computer system by a third party

    2. Phishing/spoofing via email, message, links, or telephone call
    Attempt to obtain sensitive information of the insured person such as usernames, passwords and card details for malicious reasons by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication

    3. SIMjacking
    The third-party replaces a SIM card issued to the insured person by a registered telecom service provider without the person’s knowledge and consent.

  • What’s Not Covered

    Here are some of the exclusions under this plan:

  • Transactions involving physical money

    Any offline cash/currency or currency equivalent, including money withdrawal from ATMs, is not covered under the plan.

  • Loss due to physical theft of cards/smart devices

    Any direct financial loss incurred due to physical theft of cards or digital devices.

  • Loss by negligence

    Any loss caused due to negligence in safeguarding personal data by the insured individual.

  • Trading

    Any losses or liabilities connected with any purchase, sale or other dealings in securities, commodities, derivatives, foreign or federal funds, currencies, foreign exchange currencies, currency swaps, crypto-currencies, non-fiat currencies and the like.

  • Deliberately caused losses

    Any direct financial loss incurred by the insured individual is caused intentionally or against the law.

Here are the steps to apply for the plan:
