HDFC Life Sanchay Plus Plan is a non-participating, non-linked traditional saving plan which provides guaranteed returns to the insured and their family members. This plan gives financial security to manage the major milestones in life like marriage, parenthood, retirement, etc. The plan offers financial protection during unforeseen events with assured offers and benefits.
When the insured under the HDFC Life Sanchay Plus policy claims for guaranteed benefit, they get the flexibility to use it in either the form of a lump sumamount or as a regular income.
This policy allows the policyholder to enjoy guaranteed income until the age of 99 years.
This policy provides the long-term income option for the insured individual to get guaranteed income for a fixed term of 25 to 30 years.
The policyholder can also enjoy additional riders' options like critical illness plus and income benefit on accidental disability by paying an additional premium amount. These riders are offered as a supplement to the main plan benefits.
The policyholder can return the policy within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy if they are not satisfied with the policy terms and conditions.
You can get tax benefit on the premium paid towards this policy under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Suicide
In case of death due to suicide within 12 months from the date of commencement of risk under the policy or from the date of revival of the policy, as applicable, the nominee or beneficiary of the policyholder shall be entitled to at least 80% of the total premium paid till the date of death or the surrender value available as on the date of death, whichever is higher, provided the policy is in force.
