About Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a central housing scheme rolled out by the Government of India that seeks to build around 20 million affordable houses by March 31, 2022. The last date for MIG persons to benefit from this scheme was 31 March, 2020. EWS and LIG earners can apply under the PMAY CLSS till 2022.

How is the PMAY list of beneficiaries prepared?
PMAY lists are compiled using data from the Socio-Economic Caste Census of 2011. Local panchayats and tehsils and state and UT governments also help with the shortlisting of beneficiaries.
Objectives of the PMAY scheme

You can apply on the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’s official website. Go to the ‘Citizen Assessment’ tab and click on ‘Benefits under 3 Components.’ Next, provide your Aadhaar number and fill the application form.
