Most hold-ups in the mobile app come from small mismatches that send an application for manual review:
- Name spelt differently on PAN and your KYC document: Use the PAN spelling throughout, and fix the record at source if the difference is real.
- Bank account not in your name: The money and the auto-debit must use an account you own.
- Blurred or cropped document photo: Retake it in good light, flat on a table, with all 4 corners visible.
- Gross salary entered instead of net: The lender compares your entry with bank credits, and a big gap raises questions.
Fixing these before you start does more for speed than anything else in the mobile app.
Mitali's application
Mitali is 30, a salaried steel plant safety officer in Rourkela, drawing Rs. 52,000 a month; 731 is her CIBIL score. She used the mobile app to apply for Rs. 95,000 for her sister's engagement, at an illustrative 16% per annum, and tried 2 tenures on the EMI screen at step 5.
EMI = P × R × (1 + R)^N ÷ [(1 + R)^N − 1]. Here P = Rs. 95,000, R = 16 ÷ 1,200 and N = months.
| Tenure | Monthly EMI (Rs.) | Total interest (Rs.) | EMI as share of salary (%) |
|---|
| 12 months (1 year) | 8,619 | 8,433 | 16.6 |
| 18 months (1.5 years) | 5,971 | 12,484 | 11.5 |

Picking 18 months frees Rs. 2,648 a month while adding Rs. 4,051 of interest. Processing would cost no more than Rs. 3,924. Mitali chose 18 months and set EMI reminders in the app.
What can delay approval: a CIBIL score below 650 or existing EMIs that take up a large share of your income. Names or addresses that do not match across documents, and more than one loan application in the same month, can also slow it down.
