Do’s

Don’ts
  • Never pay any advance money as a processing fee/GST or TDS/refundable fee for availing loans from Bajaj Finance Limited or any of its subsidiaries
  • Never rely on search engines to locate us as those may mislead you to fake websites of Bajaj Finance Ltd.
  • Never share your mobile number, OTP, address, DOB, EMI Card Details, PAN/Aadhar number, or copies of cheque book with strangers or on online and social media platforms

UPI


The Unified Payments Interface, or commonly known as UPI, allows you to send and receive money on the go. All you need is a UPI ID and PIN. With Bajaj Finserv app, you can make quick UPI payments with just a single click. While it is exceedingly handy to use, it has also extended the breadth of cyber-attacks and created numerous concerns about digital security. Here are a few safety precautions that can help you steer clear from such imminent threats,

Do’s
  • Keep your UPI PIN confidential.
  • Only enter your UPI PIN on the transaction screen.
  • Set a complex and unique UPI PIN. Ensure you have your phone protected with a strong PIN, pattern lock or Face Id.
  • Always ensure you are connected to a secure connection while initiating the UPI transaction.
  • If you feel your UPI PIN and ID is compromised, immediately get in touch with your bank and reset your PIN.
  • Monitor your account regularly and keep tab of your expenses via SMSes.
Don’ts
  • Never share your UPI PIN with anyone
  • Your UPI PIN is only needed to send money and check balance. Receiving payments needs no PIN. In case someone asks you to enter your PIN, it means you are approving an outward payment, i.e. a payment from your bank account.
  • Never click on any anonymous payment requests.
  • No Bajaj Finance employee will call to ask your UPI PIN, Beware Phishing scams. Never share your UPI ID, UPI PIN with anyone even if they claim to be a Bajaj Finance Employee.
  • Never transfer funds without confirming a person’s identity.
  • Do not download and install third-party apps such as Screenshare, Anydesk, Teamviewer on the guidance from third party over call.

Bajaj Finserv wallet enables easy transactions with just a single click. You can send and receive money seamlessly with the Bajaj Finserv wallet. Here are a few things to keep in mind while transacting with the Bajaj Finserv Wallet,

Do’s
  • Only send money to those who you know in person.
  • Always cross verify the payee details before initiating the payment.
  • Set a complex and unique log in password to Bajaj Finserv app. Ensure you have your phone protected with a strong PIN, pattern lock or Face Id.
  • If you feel your log in details to the Bajaj Finserv app are compromised, immediately reset your password and login details
  • If you feel your UPI PIN and ID is compromised, immediately get in touch with your bank and reset your PIN.
  • Always ensure you are connected to a secure connection while initiating the transaction.
Don’ts
  • Never share your Bajaj Finserv app password, log in details, or any OTP with anyone; even if they claim to have urgent reasons like wallet activation, reactivation, limit upgrade, KYC, etc. Bajaj Finance never asks for such details.
