Here, the lending amount P = Rs. 50,000

Interest rate over the loan tenure = 5%

Time of Lending Repayment T = 2 Years

Simple interest (SI) = Rs. 50,000 x 0.05 x 2 = Rs. 5,000

Therefore, the total loan amount to be repaid will be,

A = 50,000 + 5,000 = Rs. 55,000
