What is solo travel and why it’s growing

Solo travel refers to the act of exploring new destinations independently, without the company of friends, family, or travel companions. In recent years, solo travel has gained immense popularity, especially among millennials and Gen Z.

The allure of solo travel lies in the freedom it offers. It allows individuals to set their own schedules, explore their interests, and make decisions without external influence. Additionally, it promotes self-discovery, boosts confidence, and provides an opportunity to step out of one’s comfort zone.

Lifestyle changes have also contributed to the rise of solo travel. With more people prioritising self-care, personal growth, and unique experiences, solo travel has emerged as an empowering way to focus on oneself. It is no longer seen as a daring or unconventional choice but rather as a fulfilling and transformative journey.
