    Shoe Insurance offers coverage of up to Rs. 10,000 at just Rs. 199. Pay the premium online using your preferred mode of transaction.

  • What’s covered

  • Fire and special perils

    The plan offers coverage against damage or loss due to fires, riots, strikes, typhoons, floods, landslides, earthquakes and other specified perils.

  • Accidental damage

    Shoes Insurance covers the repair and replacement costs in case of accidental loss or damage. The shoes must be in your custody at the time of damage.

    Note: Coverage is provided as per the invoice value (of the shoes) or up to the sum insured.

  • What’s not covered

  • Loss due to pollution

    The plan excludes damage to your shoes due to pollution or contamination.

  • Shoes purchased 30 days ago

    You must apply for this insurance plan within 30 days of purchasing your shoes (as per the date mentioned on the invoice).

  • Deductibles

    A deductible amounting to the first 5% of the claim amount is applicable on every claim unless specifically revised and altered by the insurer and mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance. The deductible will be a minimum of Rs. 500 for a sum insured of up to Rs. 10,000.

  • Loss due to terrorist activity

    Loss of or damage to your shoes in a terrorist act will not be covered.

How to apply

• Invoice or bill copy
• Duly filled claim form
• FIR copy in case of burglary or theft
