Frequently Asked Questions
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) for a bike is a legal document issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO). It confirms that there are no dues or pending issues against the vehicle, allowing the owner to transfer the bike's registration from one RTO jurisdiction to another or to another person.
To apply for a NOC for your bike, visit the local RTO where the vehicle is registered. Submit the required documents, such as the bike's registration certificate, insurance, pollution certificate, and a filled NOC application form. Pay the applicable fees, and the NOC will be issued after verification.
To download a NOC online, visit the official RTO website or the Parivahan portal. Log in with your credentials, select the relevant services section, and locate the NOC option. After submitting the necessary details and documents, download the NOC once it is processed and approved.
An NOC is required to ensure the smooth transfer of a vehicle’s registration from one jurisdiction to another or to facilitate the sale of the bike. It confirms that there are no outstanding loans or legal issues against the vehicle, providing legal clearance for the transfer.
