The primary aim of the Karnataka Jyothi Sanjeevini Yojana is to ensure accessible and quality medical care for state government employees and their dependent family members. Each eligible beneficiary is issued a JSS card, which allows them to avail treatment at the nearest empanelled hospital under a cashless facility.
By implementing a cashless system, the government aims to prevent misuse of benefits while ensuring coverage for a wide range of critical illnesses and major health conditions, so that beneficiaries receive the necessary medical care without financial burden.
