After spending considerable time in the Audi Q5 Technology over mixed road conditions and during heavy rain, it consistently comes across as a sturdy, polished and highly usable luxury SUV. Mechanically it feels superb. The 261 bhp engine reacts instantly, giving strong confidence for quick highway passes, while the adaptive damping levels out rough patches with ease. Day-to-day use is straightforward thanks to physical climate dials and a clear digital driver display. A few small quirks remain: at low speeds the braking takes some acclimatisation because dual-clutch downshifts and mild-hybrid energy recovery can produce a slight jolt when coming to a stop in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Urban fuel economy is roughly 8-9 kml in dense city commutes, which is typical for a heavy, high-output AWD petrol SUV. If you prioritise performance, mechanical reliability, solid build quality and understated luxury over flashy hyper-gimmicky touchscreens, the Q5 delivers a thoroughly satisfying overall package.

Fun to drive with amazing pickup and performance, and the interior quality is top-notch. It's the fastest car I've driven, touching 100 km/ph within 6 seconds effortlessly. Great road presence without any jerking, very stable on all types of roads, and the suspension quality is fantastic. I just wish it had a connected tail light to look the prettiest. Love you Audi.

Simply fantastic from behind the wheel. Very smooth and performance-packed, with interiors that feel refreshing. I've driven around 3000 so far. The only drawback for me is the absence of a spare wheel.
