What are solar panels and how do they work?

Solar panels are devices that convert sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) cells. These cells absorb sunlight and generate direct current (DC) electricity. An inverter then converts DC into alternating current (AC) electricity for household and commercial use. Solar panels are commonly installed on rooftops or open spaces to produce clean and renewable energy. They help reduce electricity bills, lower dependence on traditional power sources, and support environmentally friendly energy generation for homes, offices, and industries.
