  • Plan details

    Get coverage of up to Rs. 50,000 at just Rs. 79 per annum. Payment can be made via any of your preferred online payment modes.

  • What’s covered

  • Hospitalisation expenses

    The plan covers expenses up to Rs. 50,000 if the tetanus infection diagnosis has been clinically confirmed.

  • Diagnostics

    Coverage for diagnostic tests done before or during the hospitalisation period.

  • Doctor’s fees

    Coverage for the doctor’s fee before, during and after hospitalisation.

  • Medication

    Coverage for medicines purchased before, during and after hospitalisation.

  • Medical expenses

    Coverage against all medical expenses incurred due to tetanus infection, starting 15 days before hospitalisation and going up to 15 days after hospitalisation.

  • Treatment charges

    Covers hospital room rent, ICU, blood transfusion, doctor’s fee, medicines and tests.

  • Hospital room rent

    Coverage for hospital room rent of up to Rs. 1,000 per day for a normal room and Rs. 2,000 per day for ICU. All other charges will be in accordance with the room rent restriction.

  • What’s not covered

  • Hospitalisation within first 30 days

    The coverage offered under this plan will not be applicable if the insured person is hospitalised due to tetanus within the first 30 days of the policy period.

  • Hospitalisation for other reasons

    Infection Cover is not valid for other conditions except hospitalisation due to tetanus infection.

  • Pre-existing conditions

    The policy is not applicable if you have a pre-existing condition because of tetanus.
