Got delivery in just 1 week, which was a pleasant surprise. Thanks to Meridian Kia, Guwahati. I’ve since driven 16,000+ km without even a minor hiccup. Borah Kia, Dibrugarh is close to home, so I usually go there for service and other work. They do need to improve their finishing quality.

Good driving experience and strong feature set. After driving my brother’s car, I want to buy one. Comfort is excellent, the torquey engine is outstanding, and overall it was a very good time with the Seltos. A solid family car.

Driving the KIA Seltos X-line feels amazing. It has everything from the GT Line plus extras like 18-inch alloys, matt finish paint, and an indigo colour leather interior. The matt paint needs more care over time but looks unique. The interior experience outshines rivals like the creta, kushaq, and harrier. A panoramic sunroof is a big miss, yet I usually keep the small moonroof closed anyway, except when it rains. The 1.4 with the 7 DCT is pure fun, always keeping enough power on tap, though the upcoming 1.5 should be even better. City mileage stays around 9 to 12, and on the highway with cruise I have seen 16 to 18. It packs all the safety kit, six airbags, and 4 disc brakes. If driven properly its 3* safety feels adequate, even if 4* would be preferable. And just look at Maruti selling plenty with 0 or 2* ratings.
