With Small Gadgets Insurance from Bajaj Finserv, you can safeguard yourself financially against accidental damage or breakdowns of your gadgets. This policy covers various small gadgets such as portable vacuum cleaners, Bluetooth speakers, humidifiers, telephones, digital clocks, smart speakers, power banks, lighters and more.
Small Gadgets Insurance offers coverage of up to Rs. 10,000 at just Rs. 399 per annum. You can pay the premium online using your preferred payment mode.
The plan provides coverage against perils such as fires, explosions or implosions, lightning, flood, earthquakes and cyclones. Damage due to riots and strikes is also covered.
You can claim repair and replacement costs for unexpected mechanical breakdowns of your small gadgets. However, the gadget must have been in your possession when it broke down.
The plan covers repair and replacement costs if your gadget is accidentally damaged. To avail of this, the gadget must be in your custody at the time of damage.
Note: The coverage is as per the invoice value, up to a maximum of the sum insured.
You must apply for Small Gadgets Insurance within 30 days of buying the gadget(s), as per the purchase date on the original invoice.
A deductible amounting to the first 5% of the claim amount is applicable on every claim unless specifically revised and altered by the insurer and mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance. The deductible will be a minimum of Rs. 1,000 for a sum insured of up to Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 2,000 for a sum insured of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000.
Loss, damage or destruction of your gadgets due to terrorist activities is not covered.
The plan excludes loss or damage due to pollution or contamination.
