Ampere Nexus ST’s biggest strength is its design; it looks sleeker than many other premium e-scooters. Performance is strong in pickup and pace. In City mode it touches about 65 kmph, while in Power mode it comfortably crosses 90 kmph. The range, however, doesn’t match the claims. Against the stated 136 km per charge, the display shows 105 km, and even that isn’t achievable in city traffic; I typically get around 80 km per full charge. Comfort is fine overall, but on broken roads you feel jolts because the suspension feels a bit stiff. The plastic quality seems weak, so even a small fall can cause major damage, and spare parts are pricey. I also faced a technical issue that took a long time to resolve since there is just one service center in Nagpur. On the tech side, the promised features underdeliver: connectivity is unreliable, frequent reconnection is needed, and call or message alerts don’t function properly.

The company claims 136 km, but in practice it delivers about 80 to 85. Till date 31/08/2025 Amapere connect software is not available in play store. At night the buttons are confusing and really need illumination. In rain, water gets into the charging socket. After riding 5000km+, the buttons don’t feel as smooth as when purchased, especially the MODE button. Request to the company: please make the Amapere connect software available on play store as soon as possible.

I bought the Nexus ST last month. From the first day I noticed a suspension issue, and even after replacing the suspension, the problem persists. The vehicle’s performance is fine, but the front suspension is very bad. The company should act immediately to address this suspension concern. Compared to other EVs, the service is ok.
