  • What’s covered?

  • Hospitalisation expenses

    Angioplasty Indemnity Cover takes care of costs related to in-patient care, pre-hospitalisation expenses (up to 30 days) and post-hospitalisation expenses (for up to 60 days).

  • Diagnostic tests

    Angioplasty Indemnity Cover offers coverage for expenses on diagnostic tests before (within the specified pre-hospitalisation period) or during the hospitalisation period.

  • Treatment charges

    Treatment charges covered include hospital room rent and expenses on ICU, transfusions, doctor fees, medicines and tests.

  • Doctor’s fees

    The doctor’s fees before, during and after hospitalisation are covered under the plan.

  • Medication costs

    Expenses on medicines related to hospitalisation are covered.

  • Ambulance expenses

    The plan covers ambulance expenses of up to Rs. 2,000.

    • The intervention must be deemed medically necessary by a cardiologist and supported by a coronary angiogram (CAG).
    • Coronary arteries refer to the left main stem, left anterior descending, circumflex and right coronary artery.

What’s not covered?

  • Hospitalisation for reasons other than angioplasty
  • Any pre-existing disease
  • Diagnostic angiography or investigation procedures without angioplasty/stent insertion
