IRIS RegTech Solutions Limited was initially incorporated as a Private Limited Company as 'IRIS Business.com (India) Private Limited' in Mumbai on October 03, 2000. The name of the Company was changed to 'IRIS Business Services (India) Private Limited' on October 27, 2003 and again to 'IRIS Business Services Private Limited' on July 13, 2009. The Company became Public Limited and the name of the Company was changed to 'IRIS Business Services Limited' w.e.f. June 29, 2010. Ahead of it, the name has again changed to IRIS RegTech Solutions Limited, effective November 28, 2025. The Company was co-founded by the late Mr Swaminathan Subramaniam, along with Mr Balachandran Krishnan and Ms Deepta Rangarajan, with the shared vision of addressing the data challenges faced by regulators and investors. Over the years, the company has established a strong presence in the global regulatory space through solutions that address regulatory complexity for both regulated entities and supervisors. The Company in October, 2017 came up with a Public Issue of 50,04,000 Equity Shares by raising equity funds aggregating Rs 16.01 Crores. The Company is a global provider of software products in solutions related to compliance, data and analytics, encompassing various aspects of the information supply chain and data reporting standards like XBRL and SDMX. It has transitioned from a service-oriented approach to a model centered around a product suite driving revenue streams. IRIS supports mission critical reporting, disclosure and supervisory infrastructure across highly regulated industries and financial ecosystems globally. The Company delivers its software products and services primarily through digital deployment models, including cloud-based and on-premise implementations. IRIS became an expert in the field of regulatory reporting, an innovator building new solutions and a nurturer while providing solutions and services to clients. The Company established itself as a prominent global name in the area of Regtech. It stood a distinct position in the market with IP driven products across the information supply chain encompassing enterprises and regulators. The Company's flagship product 'IRISCARBON' made an entry into the newly introduced FERC filing mandate for utility companies in the US in 2022. Gap Inc, one of the largest American specialty apparel company, was among the first companies in the US to release its 2021 sustainability report in a digital format using the SASB XBRL taxonomy. GAP used IRIS CARBON for creating its sustainability report in inline XBRL in 2022. IRIS CARBON's O365 based Disclosure Management was launched in 2025. In FY 2026, IRIS focused on AI-based supervision workflows, including automated tagging, compliance intelligence, and intelligent disclosure monitoring capabilities. IRIS Instant was deployed as an AI-powered document intelligence platform that automates financial statement preparation on regulators' recommended standards like XBRL and compliance validation. The Company entered into new supervisory domains including tax administration and risk based supervision systems. The Company sold its TaxTech / GST ASP business to focus on core growth areas and strengthen the Company's financial position in 2026. IRIS Data Solutions Private Limited was Incorporated on March 5, 2026 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
