Benefits of bike insurance renewal

Your insurance policy becomes inactive the day it expires, and you lose all the benefits it provides. Timely insurance renewal is key to continuing to benefit from your policy and following all the legal protocols of owning a bike.

Here are three reasons why you should renew your two-wheeler insurance on time.

Break-in period: Once your policy expires, you get a small window of time for insurance policy renewal. If you renew the policy after that time, your bike may have to be inspected again. It could also lead to a rise in premiums.

No claim bonus (NCB): You receive an NCB from the insurer for not raising any claim request throughout the policy term. If you fail to renew the policy before the grace period, your NCB may not remain active.

Fines and penalties: Insurance policies are mandatory in India for the vehicles you buy. Not having an active insurance policy can lead to fines or sometimes even imprisonment.

It’s important to renew your two-wheeler insurance on time, and our customer portal offers you an easy online process. You can also check your policy details such as start date, end date, policy number, premium amount, nominee details and more.
