Benelli Q. J., currently owned by Qianjiang Motorcycle under the Geely Holding Group, is one of the oldest Italian motorcycle companies in operation. The company’s roots can be traced back to 1911, when five brothers from the Benelli family started repairing motorcycles and bicycles. Soon, they produced their own motorcycle – a 98cc model in 1921. The company has since manufactured several class-leading motorcycles while winning several Italian and European Championships, along with two world titles in 1950 and 1969.
Apart from truly incredible motorcycles, the company also manufactures performance-centric scooters. Benelli scooters are difficult to find in India, as these are mostly manufactured and sold abroad. Some of the best-selling Benelli scooters include the Benelli Zafferano 250, Benelli New Caffenero 150, and the Benelli Dong. That said, Benelli has recently partnered with Keeway, which is also owned by Qianjiang Motorcycle. Their partnership has resulted in several top-of-the-line scooters being introduced to the Indian market.
Some of these Benelli scooters are highlighted below.
Benelli Keeway Scooter – Sixties 300i
Launched in 2022, Keeway is offering its scooters through Benelli dealerships. Renowned for its potent engine and practical design, the Sixties 300i is an exceptional two-wheeler that is available in a single variant. The scooter shares its powertrain with the other Benelli scooter, Vieste 300, and runs on a 278.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 18.9 PS of power and 22 Nm of torque.
The two-wheeler is bestowed with an all-LED illumination setup, a floorboard-mounted fuel tank cap, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and an apron compartment with a USB port. The company has gone all out in terms of its underpinnings, as the model gets a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers that take care of its suspension. For safety, the scooter utilises front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

Benelli Keeway Scooter – Vieste 300
The second model introduced by Keeway is the Vieste 300, which is more expensive than its counterpart. This Benelli scooter also sports aggressive styling and is the most powerful sub-300cc scooter in the country. This maxi-scooter comes with all-LED lighting, along with a quad projector headlight setup. Similar to the Sixties 300i, you get spacious under-seat storage and a semi-digital instrument cluster with this model.
The powertrain remains the same, with the two-wheeler being propelled by a 278.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 18.9 PS of raw power and 22 Nm of torque. The underpinnings also remain unchanged; the suspension setup comprises a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The braking duties are handled by disc brakes on the front and back, with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The two Benelli scooters carry a premium price tag, each costing around Rs. 3 lakh. Widely regarded as two of the best scooters in the premium segment, these models offer unparallelled on-road performance and handling dynamics. That said, you can easily afford these scooters by applying for a Bajaj Finserv Two-wheeler Loan. This two-wheeler loan comes with minimal documentation, flexible tenures, and quick loan disbursal times.
