Bajaj Finance offers a feature-rich customer portal – My Account, which is a one-stop shop for all our DIY (do it yourself) services. If you have an ongoing product with us or are a new customer who is looking for our product, you can sign-in using two simple steps.

All you have to do is enter your mobile number and the OTP to sign-in. If you are our existing customer, you’ll be asked to verify yourself using your date of birth.

While you’re trying to sign-in to our customer portal, some of you might face issue an error where your account is locked. If your account is locked, you won’t be able to sign-in and use online Bajaj Finserv services.

This happens if there are multiple incorrect login attempts made on your account i.e., incorrect OTPs (one-time passwords). With this feature, we ensure that your data is safe with us, and no fraudulent activity takes place. This feature adds a layer of security to your account information.

There are multiple situations where your account gets locked. This includes:

  • If you’ve entered three incorrect OTPs for the first time, your account gets locked for three minutes. After three minutes, it becomes active, and you can sign-in with a new OTP.
  • If you’ve entered three incorrect OTPs for the second time, your account gets locked for 30 minutes. It becomes active after 30 minutes and you can sign-in with your mobile number and the correct OTP.
  • In case you’ve entered three incorrect OTPs for the third time, your account gets locked for three hours. It gets activated after three hours and you can sign-in easily with your correct credentials.
  • However, if you’ve entered three incorrect OTPs for the fourth time, you’ll be asked to verify your details to unlock your account. You can complete the verification process by using either the bank account number or the EMI Network Card number (if you have one). In case you fail to complete this verification process, your account will be locked permanently.

In case your account is locked permanently, you’ll get an option to raise a service request with us to unlock it. Once you click on the ‘Raise a Request’ option, you’ll be asked to share the query and sub-query type. If needed, you might have to upload supporting documents and submit the request.

Once your request is submitted, our representative will reach out to you within 48 business hours. Our customer care representative will guide you on further steps and help you unlock your account.
