The display is also listed with a 480 Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 100% coverage and sunlight screen support, making it suited to gaming, streaming and photography.

The rumoured camera setup includes a 200MP f/1.8 primary camera, 64MP f/2.2 periscope camera and 2MP macro camera. OIS and autofocus are listed for the rear cameras. A 32MP f/2.5 front camera is expected for selfies and video calls.

The realme 12 Pro Max is expected to feature a 120 Hz AMOLED display. This refresh rate can provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported gameplay than standard 60 Hz panels. Combined with the large 6.73-inch screen, it is suited to gaming, video streaming, browsing and everyday content consumption.

The realme 12 Pro Max is listed with 8GB RAM and an expected higher configuration with 12GB RAM. The device is also listed with up to 8GB additional virtual RAM. This configuration is suited to users who frequently switch between applications, play games, edit photos and manage multiple tasks.

The rumoured realme 12 Pro Max is expected to offer 256GB and 512GB internal storage options. No memory card slot is listed. The higher capacity could be useful for users who store high-resolution photographs, 4K videos, games, applications and offline entertainment content on their smartphone.

The realme 12 Pro Max is rumoured to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno GPU. The platform is suited to everyday multitasking, photography, gaming, streaming and productivity workloads while supporting 5G connectivity.
