Ridden 5000+ km.
Engine: Plenty of torque through the midrange, always quick and eager. Even though peak torque comes at 8k rpm, there is no stalling or struggling. It gets up to speed briskly; do not compare it with the 390s, but it is more than good enough.
Suspension: I would call it a hybrid setup. Over bigger undulations at low speeds it stays smooth and plush; as you go faster on tarmac it firms up like a sportsbike. It can handle some offroad, but the tank’s bulk makes it more of a tourer than an offroader.
Gearbox: The downside. Shifts are not the smoothest, and a second-gear miss shows up quite often. After a long cruise in 6th, the first downshift can feel hard and almost stuck, though it eases quickly. The other gears are trouble-free.
Features: Everything works well: cruise control, traction control, riding modes. I mostly ride in Tour mode, which gives the steepest throttle map on this bike. Rain and Urban feel lazier, good when you just want to relax and take in the surroundings.
Fit and finish: Very good, no complaints.
Design: Grabs tons of attention. People keep asking about it, and kids often wave and smile. Feels great.
Exhaust: My only dislike. It is not as bassy as other Apaches; it has a distinct note that is nice in cold weather, but in summer the engine clatter is what you hear and it gets annoying.
Service: Not exactly premium. Sometimes the mechanics do not know much about how things work, but my dealership and the service centre have been very nice. They fixed small issues for free and were transparent. Hopefully the service improves over time.
Overall: A GREAT touring bike for what you pay, with impressive capability and aesthetics.

Performance really stands out, with agile handling and brakes that inspire total confidence. The engine runs silky-smooth, and the exhaust has a good base tone. Ergonomics work well too, with comfortable height and riding posture. The biggest advantage is the pricing, because in this budget you will not find this level of performance and features elsewhere. Strong buy in my book.
