Eight months into ownership, I still grin every time I open the throttle. The performance feels genuinely strong, and the brisk acceleration never gets old.
On my daily office commute with frequent signals and bumper-to-bumper traffic, I consistently get around 36 km/l. On highways, the mileage improves a lot, delivering roughly 44 to 46 km/l at a steady cruise while using E20 fuel.
There is room for more features given what some competitors offer. I would like hazard lights and a real-time mileage readout on the TFT cluster. ABS is not switchable; that is fine for safety, but having the option could help experienced riders. Cruise control would also be a nice addition.
The rear suspension feels a bit firm when riding solo. With a pillion of decent weight, the ride settles down and becomes more comfortable and balanced.
The showroom interaction was just okay, but the service-centre experience has been good so far. I would strongly suggest not signing up blindly for extended service packages or long-term schemes beyond the third free service. First evaluate the service quality, then decide.
Service standards vary by outlet. Mine has been reliable, so my experience has been positive. If you are unhappy with the authorised service centre after the free services, you can go with a trustworthy independent mechanic or a reputable service franchise. Michelin Tyre & Service (MTS) outlets are helpful for tyre-related work, while a dependable local workshop can manage regular maintenance.
Overall, it is a fun, efficient, and enjoyable bike with strong performance. A few extra features would make it even better, and after 8 months I am still very happy with the ownership.

Buying experience and design: The purchase at the TVS showroom was smooth and well handled. The Anniversary Special Edition really stands out on the street with its matte finish, red alloy wheels, and a sharp LED headlamp that grabs attention in the 160cc class.
Ride and performance: The 159.7cc oil-cooled motor feels exceptionally refined. Glide Through Technology (GTT) makes crawling through traffic effortless, while Sport mode delivers strong pull when you need it. The riding posture suits everyday commutes with little strain on the wrists. The suspension setup leans firm, aiding stability at higher speeds, and the bike stays light and flickable in city traffic.
Mileage and service: I consistently record about 40 to 42 kmpl in the city and up to 47 kmpl on open highways. Authorized TVS service centers have been dependable, and routine upkeep has remained affordable.
Pros:
- Refined engine with distinct riding modes
- Feature-rich, including Bluetooth navigation and GTT
- Premium styling and solid build quality
Cons:
- Rear seat padding could be softer for long pillion rides
- Suspension feels stiff over sharp potholes
Owner tip: Clean and lube the chain every 500 km, follow the recommended oil change intervals, and maintain proper tire pressure to get the best mileage and handling.

Very satisfying experience with its styling, off-road capability, and good mileage. It feels worth it and is a strong bike in this segment with a powerful engine. Easy to control at high speed, and off road it carries two people without hassle. The design is muscular and attractive, with plenty of power.
