Out of my 15-car collection, this ranks in the top three for reliability. Performance is excellent. The features it brought in 2019 felt ahead of the curve, which is when I bought it. I did have some clutch problems, but apart from that it has been great. It is fast and comfortable. If you want performance, choose the 2.0 Hector. I am currently on a 2.0 Hector Sharp and it still runs strong after 7 years. Mine is special, making 200 hp at the wheels, called Black Mamba @theteamtorquerage @arbaazzx on Instagram.

I have been an MG Hector owner since 2019 and have now bought a new MG Hector automatic. The look and road presence are excellent, especially in the new celadon blue. The light grey interior in the 5 seater feels properly upscale. Keyless entry and exit, the connected large tab, panoramic sunroof, and the touch button for tailgate opening and closing all add to the luxury. The new 2 and 3-finger gesture functions work great. No start without a seatbelt, hard reverse drive, ADAS, and 6 airbags provide strong safety. Other than 1st gear, you cannot feel any of the 8 gears in this automatic. Driving comfort and feel are awesome. Mileage is 8-9, which should not bother an upper middle class person, as the price of this luxury car (22L) is really impressive. If someone wants to step up to luxury at a reasonable cost, this is the pick.
