Effortlessly change your address on Aadhaar card with this step-by step guide.

Step 1

Visit the UIDAI website and click on ‘Update Aadhaar’ on the homepage.

Log in to my Aadhar portal with your 12-digit Aadhaar number and confirm your phone number and identity with an OTP.

Step 3

Click on the ‘Address Update’ section, and then select ‘Update Aadhaar Online’. On the next page, click on ‘Proceed To Update Aadhaar’

Step 4

Select the Address field to update from the list and go on to enter the new address details. Ensure that it matches the supporting documents.

Step 5

Upload a scanned copy of a valid address proof document, containing your current address.

Step 6

Carefully review and submit the request. Once the request it submitted, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 50.

Step 7

After successful submission, you will receive a Service Request Number (SRN). This can be used to track the status of your request.
