Here’s what’s covered under this plan:
Get coverage against damage caused to the water purifier due to accidental fire, explosion/implosion, breakdown due to earthquakes, floods or other perils as specified in the plan.
Any loss or damage caused to your water filter due to robbery or burglary will be covered under the plan.
You can get coverage for repair and replacement costs arising due to any accidental damage caused to the water purifier.
If your water filter breaks down due to mechanical issues, then you can get coverage for replacement and repair expenses to fix these issues.

Here are some of the exclusions under the plan:
If an individual applies for insurance after 30 days from the date of purchase of the filter (as mentioned in the invoice), then it will not be covered.
If pollution or contamination is the reason behind damage, loss or destruction of the water filter, then it will not be covered under the plan.
The deductible of the first 5% of each claim amount is subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000 for the sum insured up to Rs. 20,000, or Rs. 2,000 for the sum insured above Rs. 20,000 and up to 50,000.
This is applicable unless specifically revised and altered by the insurer and mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance.
Any loss or damage caused to the water filter due to an act of terrorism is not covered.
