  • What’s Covered

    Here’s what’s covered under this plan:

  • Hospitalisation expenses

    The plan covers hospitalisation expenses up to Rs. 50,000 for specified conditions.

  • Diagnostic tests

    You can get coverage against expenses incurred for undertaking diagnostic tests during or before hospitalisation.

  • Doctor’s fee

    The plan covers doctor’s fees incurred during, before and after hospitalisation.

  • Medications

    Expenses borne for medications prescribed during, before and after hospitalisation are covered under this plan.

  • Medical expenses

    Medical expenses incurred for 15 days before and after hospitalisation will be covered.

  • Treatment charges

    Avail of coverage against treatment charges such as room rental, ICU, blood transfusion, doctor’s fees, medicines and tests.

  • Daily room rent

    Get a daily room rent coverage up to Rs. 1,000 per day for a normal room and Rs. 2,000 per day for ICU. All other charges are in accordance with the room rent restriction.

  • What’s Not Covered

    Here are some of the exclusions under this plan:

  • Hospitalisation within 30 days

    If the insured person is hospitalised due to typhoid within a period of 30 days from the start date of policy term, then expenses incurred during this time will not be covered.

  • Hospitalisation for any other condition

    If the insured person is hospitalised for any other condition, apart from typhoid, then hospitalisation expenses in such cases will not be covered.
