Terms and Conditions for Addition of Joint Holder in Fixed Deposit(FD)

1. I am 18 years of age or older and I can understand, read and write in the English language;

2. Application/Request may be made Bajaj Finance Ltd("BFL"), to add joint holder in subject to a maximum of three applicants.

3. The addition of joint holder in fixed deposit shall be subject to the condition that all the applicants (a) provide consent/sign the application in their individual capacities (b) submit documents as specified by the BFL and (c) meet the eligibility criteria specified by the BFL.

4. All communications in relation to the Deposit will be addressed to the first applicant appearing in the Fixed Deposit.

5. All payments in relation to the Deposit placed in joint names including interest and maturity proceeds, will be made in the name of the first applicant and in the bank account provided to BFL including for the purpose of deduction of tax at source. Any such payment made by BFL to the first applicant/depositor, discharge BFL from its liability in respect of the Deposit and shall be binding on the other joint applicants/depositor(s)

6. Minor cannot be added as joint holder in the FD. Similarly, joint holder cannot be added in FD standing in the name of minor.

7. Addition of joint holder cannot be made in FD where attachment order/garnishee order is received by BFL or where there are any claims/disputes brought to the notice of BFL.
