What we cover

Get coverage for sum insured, or value of the invoice (whichever is lower) against:
  • Accidental Loss and Damage
  • Theft and burglary, including forceful robbery
  • Fire, Riot & Strikes, and any fortuitous cause

What we do not cover

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Carelessness on the part of the user

How to apply

  • Apply online giving your KYC details
  • Submit the purchase details along with copies of invoice/bills

Spectacle Insurance – Claim Process


  • Intimate the claim within 7 days of discovering the loss of the spectacles in any one of the following manner

4. Walk into the office directly
  • Submit the relevant information
  • In case of damage, preserve the damaged property for inspection by the insurance surveyors.
  • In case of theft and burglary, file the FIR with the police within 24 hours of discovering the loss.

The Process:

  • The claims handler will contact the insured within 4 hours of receiving the intimation.
  • The claims handler will seek further information about the loss from you.

Documents required:

  • Claim form duly signed
  • Report of the incident
  • Original bills/Invoices
  • In case of fire, a copy of the report from the Fire Brigade
  • In case of theft, a copy of the FIR


  • Settlement period is 7 working days after receiving the documents along with the survey/investigation report
  • Payment is through any of the following methods
