Planned Ambulance Service Cover by AWP Assistance (India) Private Ltd., provides coverage against planned ambulance service expenses at just Rs. 470 including GST. It primarily assists one in emergency planning, be it finding an ambulance for a scheduled hospitalisation, arranging transportation for a hospital visit, or an inter-hospital medical transfer.

Eligibility: Individuals who are 18 and above can apply for this plan. The age is considered as per your last birthday.

Plan Validity: The plan is valid for a tenor of one year.

What's Covered

Here’s what’s covered in this plan.

  • Money-in-bank

    Planned Ambulance service

    • Avail of planned ambulance support, up to a maximum of 2 times a year with Allianz Assistance. This is accounted for all the requests put in by the covered persons during the plan tenor.
    • One service benefit would include the following:

    - Transporting the covered member from their location to the hospital for treatment.

    - Transporting the covered member back from the hospital to their residence post treatment.

    • A waiting period of one month is applicable for availing of this benefit. The waiting period is not applicable in the subsequent years if the membership has been renewed without break.
    • The services will only be provided in the following cities:

    • The services will be provided within a radius of 40 kms from the declared residential address of the member.
    • If the ambulance support is required to carry the covered person for a distance greater than the above mentioned radius or if the services are required for an intercity transfer, the subscriber will have to pay additional charges for every km travelled beyond the covered radius, as per the pricing charts of the ambulance service provider.
