If you are looking for post-operative care, elderly care, urinary catheterization care, wound care, IV infusions, vaccinations, or any other home nursing service, you may opt for Nursing at Home Cover by AWP Assistance (India) Private Ltd., which provides nursing care at the declared residential address of the covered person once (one-time service) per year, up to a maximum of 5 days, at just Rs. 177 including GST.

Eligibility: Individuals who are 18 and above can apply for this plan. The age is considered as per your last birthday.

Plan Validity: The plan is valid for a tenor of one year.

What's Covered

Here’s what’s covered in this plan.

  • Money-in-bank

    Nursing at Home

    • Allianz Assistance will provide nursing care at the declared residential address of the covered person once (one-time) per year, up to a maximum of 5 days and the maximum duration of providing services per day will be 12 hours, for all the requests put in by the covered persons during the year.
    • The maximum duration for which the nursing care at home may be requested, is for 5 days post the doctor’s prescription, which specifies that the customer requires nursing care at home.
    • A waiting period of two months is applicable for availing of this benefit.
    • Coverage for nursing care is to be provided only for the following ailments: -
    1. Cancer
    2. Coronary Artery Bypass surgery
    3. iii. First heart attack (myocardial infarction)
    4. Kidney failure
    5. Major organ transplant
    6. Stroke
    7. vii. Aorta graft surgery
    8. viii. Primary pulmonary arterial hypertension
    9. Multiple sclerosis with persisting symptoms
    10. Permanent paralysis of limbs
    11. Any major accident

What’s not Covered

Here’s what’s not covered in this plan.

  1. Nursing at home is not covered if the covered person has taken a forced discharge/self-discharge from the hospital without undergoing the full treatment.
  2. Nursing care at home does not include any medical equipment/medicine/injections or toiletries etc., these must be provided by the covered person, at his own expense.
