    The plan covers expenses of up to Rs. 1 lakh on hospitalisation due to natural disasters, provided the diagnosis is supported by an appropriate consultant’s clinical confirmation.

    The natural disaster insurance plan covers the cost of diagnostic tests before (within the specified period) or during the hospitalisation period.

    Doctor’s fees

    You can avail of coverage for doctor’s fees before, during and after hospitalisation.

    Expenses on medication

    The plan covers expenses on medicines related to hospitalisation.

    Treatment charges that are covered include hospital room rent and expenses on ICU, blood transfusion, doctor fees, medicines and tests.

What's not covered?

• Any pre-existing disease.
• The cover is valid only after continuous hospitalisation for 48 hrs.
• The benefit is applicable only post-hospitalisation.

Waiting period
• Rehabilitation benefit will not be covered before a 30-day initial waiting period.
