  • Standard fire and special perils cover

    Any damage to your musical instrument due to fire breakout, explosion or implosion, strikes/riots, lightning or any other environmental disaster such as a storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, etc. are covered.

  • Burglary And Robbery Cover

    Burglary and robbery cover

    Musical Instrument Insurance provides protection against any loss/damage caused to your musical instrument in the event of actual or attempted robbery or burglary at your insured premises.

  • Accidental damage cover

    The plan offers coverage for repair and replacement costs incurred due to any accidental damage. To avail of this benefit, the instrument must have been in your possession at the time of damage.

  • What’s Not Covered

    Here’s what is not covered in this policy.

  • Loss due to pollution or contamination

    Any loss, destruction or damage caused to the musical instrument because of pollution or contamination will not be covered.

  • Deductibles applicable

    The deductible of the first 5% of each claim amount is subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000 for the sum insured up to Rs. 20,000, or Rs. 2,000 for the sum insured above Rs. 20,000 and up to 50,000.

    This is applicable unless specifically revised and altered by the insurer and mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance.

  • Delay in insurance application

    You need to insure your musical instrument within 30 days of its purchase (as per invoice) to seek the benefits of this cover.

How to Process a Claim

To raise a claim, please reach out to the customer experience team within 24 hours of loss of or damage to your musical instrument. You need to submit these documents while placing the claim:

• Duly filed claim form
• Invoice or bill copy
• FIR copy in case of burglary or theft
