In the unfortunate event that the insured person dies while travelling on the Mumbai Metro, the registered nominee will receive compensation of up to Rs. 1 lakh.
If the insured person is disabled due to the injuries sustained in a Mumbai Metro accident, the plan offers coverage against loss of income of Rs. 2,000 per week during the policy period.
Individuals below 18 and above 70 years of age are ineligible for Mumbai Metro Insurance.
This plan does not cover self-inflicted injuries, suicide or attempted suicide
Accidents occurring when the insured person is under the influence of liquor, drugs, or other intoxicants are not covered.
