Post lockdown, once your office resumes, you should follow the below precautionary measures to ensure safety of all your employees and staff.
1. Identify the workers that really need to and can come at work, and allow the rest to continue working from home.
2. Schedule the shifts in a way that at a time only 25 to 50% of workspace is occupied.
3. Ensure that the transportation of the workers is safe.
4. Keep a series of checkpoints at each entry. Thermal check and use of PPEs to be made mandatory.
5. Use of the staircase to be encouraged.
6. Ensure a disciplined sanitization of the work stations by housekeeping.
7. Ask everyone to carry their personal stationery, hand towels and cutlery to avoid contact.
8. Keep the work stations distant from each other. No employee should be closer than 6 feet from another.
9. Ensure proper ventilation, better filtration and surface cleaning can reduce the risk.
10. Schedule regular reminders on office speakers about washing and sanitizing hands.
11. Restrict unnecessary travel of staff till the situation is fully under control.
12. Identify the nearby hospitals and clinics which are authorized to treat COVID-19 patients.
