Registering your bank account, PAN card and bank account can help you reap a host of online services. Some of these are as follows:
- Filing income tax returns: Linking of the PAN to the Aadhar card is mandatory for e-filing of your returns. The last date to link your Aadhar to your PAN is June 30, 2018. Verifying IT returns becomes more convenient if your mobile number is linked to your Aadhar as well.
- Easier KYC: Aadhar, as mentioned earlier is a unique identification mechanism because it also carries biometric details of an individual. It can serve as a single proof of documentation at places such as financial institutions where you may be asked for KYC during a loan application.
- Beneficial for senior citizens: Senior citizens can find it cumbersome to get their pension, given the host of documentation. Registering for Aadhar and subsequent linking with bank and employee provident fund can reduce documentation drastically, making retirement benefits easier for senior citizens.

Thus, as can be seen, it is in every citizen’s interest that he/she carries out Aadhar-related financial tasks to make life easier for all.
