Health Package- Post Operative Care by Bajaj Finserv provides twice in a year ambulance service, 5 days nursing at home facilities in a year, and 5 physiotherapy sessions in a year in just Rs. 825.

Eligibility: Individuals between the age of 18 and no limit to maximum age band can avail of this plan. The age is taken as on the last birthday.

Plan Validity: The plan is valid for a tenor of one year.

What's covered?

  • Money-in-bank

    Physiotherapy

    • The Allianz Assistance will provide Physiotherapy Services at Home at the declared residential address of the covered person once per year up to a maximum of 5 days in a year, wherein each session will be up to a maximum of one (1) hour.
    • The maximum duration for which the Physiotherapy Services at Home may be requested is 5 days post the doctor prescription which specifies that the customer requires physiotherapy. 
    • A waiting period of two (2) months is applicable for availing this benefit.
    • Coverage for physiotherapy sessions to be provided only in the case where the doctor has prescribed it of:

    - Accident cases where post-hospitalization physiotherapy has been advised by a doctor.

    - Orthopaedic surgeries where post-hospitalization surgery of spine was conducted and physiotherapy has been advised by the doctor.

    - Paralysis of limbs where physiotherapy has been advised by the doctor.

    • The services will only be provided in the following cities:-

    Nursing at home

    • The Allianz Assistance will provide nursing care at the declared residential address of the covered person once (one time) per year, up to a maximum of 5 days’ service and the maximum duration of providing services per day will be 12 hours for all the requests put in by the covered persons during the year.
    • The maximum duration for which the Nursing care at Home may be requested is for 5 days post the doctor prescription which specifies that the customer requires nursing care at home.
    • A waiting period of two months is applicable for availing this benefit.
    • Coverage for nursing Care to be provided only for the following ailments: -
    1. Cancer
    2. Coronary Artery Bypass surgery
    3. First Heart Attack (Myocardial Infarction)
    4. Kidney Failure
    5. Major Organ Transplant
    6. Stroke
    7. Aorta Graft Surgery
    8. Primary Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
    9. Multiple Sclerosis with Persisting Symptoms
    10. Permanent Paralysis of Limbs
    11. Any major accident

    2. Allianz Assistance Agent will assist you in fixing the appointment for the preferred medical service
    3. Agent will confirm the booking via SMS and email
    4. Allianz Assistance helpdesk will call you back for appointment confirmation

  • Money-in-bank

    Ambulance service

    a.The Allianz Assistance will provide planned Ambulance Support upto a maximum of 2 times in a year accounting for all the requests put in by the covered persons during the year.

    b.One Service benefit would mean:-

    i.Carrying/transporting the covered member through ambulance from his location to the hospital for treatment or

    ii.Carrying/transporting the covered member back from hospital to Home after treatment.

    c.Waiting period of one month is applicable for availing this benefit. Waiting period is not applicable in the subsequent years if the membership has been renewed without break.

    d.The services will only be provided in the following cities:-

    e.The services will be provided within a radius of 40 km from the declared residential address of the subscriber.

    f.If the ambulance support is required to carry the covered person for greater than the above radius or the services are required for an intercity transfer, the subscriber will have to pay an additional charge for every km travelled beyond the covered radius.

What is Not Covered / Exclusions

Physiotherapy at home

If the covered person has taken a forced discharge/self-discharge from the hospital without undergoing the full treatment

Nursing at Home

  1. If the covered person has taken a forced discharge/self-discharge from the hospital without undergoing the full treatment.
  2. Nursing care at Home does not include any medical equipment/medicine/injections or toiletries etc., which have to be provided by the covered person at his own expense.

The emergency ambulance is not covered under this service
