    Medical teleconsultation

    Consultation with a physician/registered medical practitioner for illness or injury which is not a medical emergency or life-threatening.

    The doctor answers the beneficiary’s questions concerning his/her medical condition following a hospitalisation/immobilization/illness and the prescription made by the treating doctor. The doctor provides an opinion regarding what a specific individual should or should not do to restore or preserve health.  Information on general health issues such as health care facilities, risk factors, general medical issues, drug issues, preventive information, information on alternative medicine, and pain management centres is provided.

    Install the App and register yourself to use LiveDoc India by Allianz Assistance:
    • Create your account on the app
    • Select 'I am a covered customer'
    • Enter membership no. and date of birth
    • Sign-in to LiveDoc India by Allianz Assistance
    • Click on 'See a doctor now'
    • Consult a doctor via call
    • For specialists’ consultations, follow the steps below:
    1. Call on toll-free number- 1800-419-0660 to reach the helpdesk for Allianz Assistance or Health Wise.
    2. Allianz Assistance agent will take the request and arrange a call back from the specialist.

    The specialist doctor will call you and provide consultation, the prescription will be sent to you through an SMS or over customer email ID

  • Money-in-bank

    OPD vouchers

    Allianz Assistance provides up to 4 consultations. The vouchers will be valid for specific hospitals only and the consultation can be used to visit either a general physician or a specialist.

    Waiting period of one month is applicable for availing this benefit. Waiting period is not applicable in the subsequent years if the membership has been renewed without break.

What’s not Covered

Here’s what’s not covered in this plan.


  1. All medicines/ tests being prescribed by the doctor for treatment or further diagnosis.
  2. There will be times when the consulting doctor may not be able to provide an assessment using telehealth consultation. Doctors are trained to assess the appropriateness of conducting telehealth consultations on a case-by-case basis. They will ensure that each consultation meets the standards required for patient examination and evaluation. If they are unable to make a full, adequate assessment for advice, based on high-quality evidence, they will recommend the subscriber to visit a doctor physically.
  3. Teleconsultations when the teleconsultation service identifies a medical emergency.
