  • Charges

    Only fund management charges are charged for managing your funds and mortality charges are charged for your life cover.

  • Special additions

    This policy gives you 1% of the annualised premium to your fund value for the first five years*.
    *For single premium, the special addition is 1% of the single premium at inception only.

  • Return of mortality charges

    In the premium wavier option, the mortality charges for the insured is refunded. This benefit will not be available for all the policies, waiver of benefit is triggered due to death coverage.

  • Premium wavier benefit

    The premium wavier benefit secures your loved ones in your absence.

  • Systematic transfer plan strategy

    This benefit enables you to invest a fixed amount at a regular interval. This will help you manage your other expenses.

The plans are available at affordable premiums starting from Rs. 2,000 including all taxes and offers a maximum coverage of Rs. 8.75 lakh.

a. You can move from accumulated funds to another fund from one to another anytime. You can make unlimited free switches during the policy tenure.

d. The policyholder can request withdrawals of systemic funds.

How To Purchase The Policy

Here are the steps to purchase the policy:

  • To apply the HDFC Click2Wealth Plan, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button, and fill in your basic and health details. The insurer’s representative will get in touch with the insured and provide them further assistance.
  • Please ensure that the information given in the form is complete and accurate. 
  • The insured may be required to undergo a pre-policy medical examination at one of the insurer’s network diagnostic centres.
  • Policy schedule, policy wordings, cashless cards, and health guide will be sent to the insured’s mailing address.

List Of Documents To Purchase The Policy

Here’s the list of mandatory documents required to purchase the policy:

  • Photograph of the applicant(s)
  • Age proof such as birth certificate, voter’s ID, PAN card, passport etc.
  • Identity proof such as passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter’s ID etc. 
  • Income proof such as Form 16, salary slips, employment certificate etc. 
  • Address proof such as telephone bill, electricity bill, passport, bank statement, voter’s ID etc.
  • Medical tests that the insurer requires you to undergo

How To Process The Claim

Here’s how you can process the claim:

Cashless claims

The insured can avail the benefit of cashless treatment at any of the insurer’s network hospitals across the country. Here are the documents required for processing cashless claims:

  • First, search for an HDFC network hospital in the city where you want to get cashless treatment.
  • Intimate the insurer within 48 hours (emergency hospitalisation) and 3 days before admission in case of planned hospitalisation.
  • While visiting the hospital, carry the patient’s insurance cashless card or the policy details.
  • Show the health insurance cashless card and valid ID proof at the insurance desk of the hospital.
  • Fill in the pre-authorisation request form correctly, which will be available at the hospital and submit it to the hospital.
  • For quicker action, fill the request form on the official website and intimate the insurer. Wait for the decision as your request will be reviewed.
  • The insurer may take up to 2 hours after receiving the request and will inform about the decision via an e-mail and an SMS.
  • The insured can also check the status online on The claim will be processed as per the terms and conditions of the policy after all the formalities are completed.

Reimbursement claims

Here are the documents needed to process reimbursement claim

  • In case of an emergency admission, you need to notify the insurer within 48 hours and pay the charges to the hospital directly unless a pre-authorisation has been issued by the insurer.
  • For collection and submission of claim documents, you need to send the list of the documents in original form within 15 days of discharge from the hospital. You can collect these documents from the hospital and submit them to the insurer:
  1. Claim form duly filled and signed by you/insured
  2. Hospitalisation discharge card/summary
  3. Hospital invoice(s) (summary and itemised invoices) and corresponding payment receipts
  4. Surgical summary (in case the life assured has undergone surgery).
  5. All supporting diagnostic reports and prescriptions
  6. All pharmacy receipts and corresponding prescriptions
  7. Ambulance invoice if applicable

You will also need to submit self-attested copies of the following documents:

  1. Health card or policy document
  2. ID proof (PAN card, Aadhar card, passport, driving license, voter’s identity card, bank passbook/statement).
  3. In case of cashless claims, ID proof should contain the photograph of the ID card holder.
  4. It would be preferable to provide NEFT details and supporting documents (cancelled cheque/bank passbook/statement) at the time of claim registration.
• After reviewing the documents, the insurer will approve or reject the same as per the terms and policy.
• If the request is approved, the insurer will send the reimbursement amount via NEFT to your registered bank account.
• If the request is rejected, the same will be communicated to the insured’s registered contact phone number and email id.

Major Policy Exclusions

Here are some of the exclusions under this policy:

  • Suicide: In case of insured’s death due to suicide within 12 months from the policy start date or policy revival date, then the nominee will receive the fund value as available on intimation of death. In case of death due to prosper, where prosper is different from the insured in premium wavier option, the policy shall continue without the benefit of the waiver plan.
  • Failure to take medical advice
  • Any sort of involvement in criminal activity
