Any loss or damage due to robbery or burglary is covered under Electronic Stationery Insurance. However, to qualify for this benefit, the stationery device should be at the insured premises as listed on the Insurance Certificate.
Any accidental damage to the electronic stationery will be covered under this insurance policy. You can also claim any repair or replacement costs if the stationery device was in your possession at the time of the accident.
In case of a breakdown due to mechanical or electrical issues, you can get coverage for the repair and replacement expenses.
The coverage is only as per the invoice value subject to a maximum amount of sum insured.

If any damage or loss is caused due to pollution or contamination, then such losses will not be covered under this policy.
In case the application for insurance is not made within 30 days from the date of purchase of the electronic stationery item, then it will not be covered. The original invoice date will be considered as the purchase date of the item.
The deductible of the first 5% of each claim amount is subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000 for sum insured up to Rs. 20,000, or Rs. 2,000 for sum insured more than Rs. 20,000 up to Rs. 50,000.
This is applicable unless specifically revised and altered by the insurer and mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance.
Any loss, damage or destruction of the electronic stationery due to an act of terrorism will not be covered under this policy.
