    Hospitalization Expenses

    All medical expenses incurred during the pre and post hospitalisation period for 10 days will be covered under this policy. The upper limit for the policy cover is Rs. 3 lakh, but all the diagnosis must be clinically confirmed by a medical consultant.

    Diagnostics test

    The injuries caused due to animal attacks can be both internal and external and these lead to massive diagnostic tests, the cost of which is covered under the policy. Hence, the expenses incurred during any diagnostic tests before or during the time of hospitalisation are covered in the policy.

    Doctor’s Fees

    You can claim the expenses like doctor’s fees before, after and during hospitalisation under the insurance cover.

    You can claim all the medicine bills related to hospitalisation under the insurance cover.

    Expenses like rent for the hospital room, ICU, doctor’s fees, blood transfusion and tests are included in the insurance cover.

    Note: Animal attacks covered in the policy include mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians.

What's not covered?

- Any accidents or injury caused as a result of adventure sports are not included.
- The policy holder will have to wait for a period of 48 hours post hospitalisation to claim the cover. The reason being that the policy is applicable only after continuous 48 hours of hospitalisation.
