Eligibility: Individuals between the age of 18 and 65 years can avail this plan. The age is taken as on the last birthday.

Plan Validity: The plan is valid for a tenor of one year.

  • Money-in-bank

    Accidental Death

    Suppose the insured person suffers from an accident covered under the policy that results in death. In that case, the insured person will receive the sum insured as per the certificate of insurance or the policy schedule under Group Personal Accident Benefit. The event must be covered under the insurance policy and should result directly in the policyholder passing away solely due to the injury within 365 days from the date of the accident. Once an insurance claim is accepted and paid under this coverage, it automatically terminates for the insured person.

  • Money-in-bank

    Funeral Expenses

    If during the policy year, the policyholder suffers an injury due to an accident covered under the policy in accordance with Section I.A.1 and that results in the death of the policyholder, the sum insured will be paid as specified in the policy schedule as per Sections I.A.1 towards:

    1. Expenses incurred for preparing the body of the deceased for burial or cremation and transportation to the address mentioned in the policy schedule or home. 
    2. Funeral or cremation expenses in respect of the policyholder.

  • Money-in-bank

    Repatriation of Mortal Remains

    If the claim for accidental death has been accepted, reimbursement of the amount will be done up to the limit specified against this cover in the policy schedule towards the costs associated with the transportation of mortal remains from the place of death to the home location.

    In addition, assistance will be provided by the insurer or the medical assistance service for organizing or obtaining the necessary clearances for the repatriation of mortal remains.

  • Money-in-bank

    Coverage for dependent children

    If the claim for accidental death has been accepted under Sections I.A.1, an additional amount as specified against this coverage in the policy schedule will be paid in respect of the dependent child (children) under the age of 25 as on the date of occurrence, irrespective of whether the child (children) is an insured person under this policy.

    Any claim towards this cover that becomes admissible where the dependent child (children) is a minor shall be payable to the legal guardian.

    If the policyholder has more than one child, the sum insured specified under this cover shall be paid equally among all eligible children.

What is Not Covered / Exclusions

  1. Any claim except Accidental death, Repatriation of Mortal remains and Dependent Children cover will not be accepted.
