    Expenses up to Rs. 3 lakh (as per the chosen sum insured option) are covered under the plan, provided the diagnosis is supported by the clinical confirmation by an appropriate specialist doctor. The plan includes expenses incurred during the pre-and post-hospitalisation for a period of up to 30 days and 60 days, respectively.

    Diagnostics Tests

    The cost of conducting diagnostic tests before (within the specified pre-hospitalisation period) or during the hospitalisation period is covered under the plan.

    Doctor’s Fees

    Coverage for doctor’s fees can be availed of before, during and after hospitalisation.

    Expenses Incurred On Medication

    Expenses towards the purchase of medicines related to hospitalisation are covered under the plan

What's not covered?

  • Hospitalisation due to reasons other than pulmonary thromboembolism
  • Hospitalisation within the first 90 days from the commencement of the policy
  • Any pre-existing disease
